Art Classes

Textiles • Natural Dyes • Mindful Making

I offer in-person and virtual art classes and workshops centered on textiles, natural dyeing, and slow, hands-on creative practice.

As an interdisciplinary visual artist, I work with textiles, natural dyes, and earth pigments. My work transforms plant and land-based materials into quiet, tactile pieces that explore memory, place, and connection to the natural world. My approach to art and life is deeply informed by a 28-year Buddhist practice, which shapes my focus on attention and working with the rhythms of the natural world.

I’m also a Teaching Artist and Museum Educator at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, where I work in the Department of Learning and Civic Engagement. I facilitate programs for students, teachers, and adults, including Art After Loss, Conversation Pieces, and Musing Together, which engages individuals living with dementia and their caregivers through art.
